Poco F7 Ultra in for review | Infinium-tech
Call Poco F7 Ultra to Hello, the first ultra phone from the brand. While its official launch is still a few days away, our review unit made its way for the office, and these are our first impressions.
Our F7 Ultra Unit Bold Poco comes in yellow color. There is a quad-ghumavdar glass back that helps with ergonomics so it does not dig into your palm like some others call. Our scales measured F7 Ultra at over 210 grams, which corresponds to the previous year’s Poco F6 Pro.
Poco also included a double-texture finish on the back. The top is half bright, while the below matte treatment is found, which should be better fare against the fingerprint. The top house has a round camera island that sits off-center. You get a normal flat metal frame with the power and volume button on the right.
A flat with QHD+ resolution is a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate upfront. It claims some beautiful slim bezels and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The device comes with a black silicone case, a power adapter and a USB-C cable. This is a very solid kit, given what you get from some contestants.
Some quick words on software, we are running Xiaomi Hyperos 2 (for Poco) out of the box. Android 15- Based UI feels like your normal Xiaomi and Redmi phone, complete with Xiaomi’s Hyperi suite and Google Gemini support.
We can all share for now. Stay for the global launch of F7 Ultra next week!
