One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy S24 family is now out in the US, Europe, and India | Infinium-tech
Samsung began rolling out the update for One UI 6.1.1 last week when it was released in Korea for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Flip5. Today, the rollout has expanded significantly.
There are reports coming in that the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are receiving the update in the US, UK, continental Europe, as well as India.
The update brings more Galaxy AI features. Sketch to Image lets you turn a simple drawing into “a stunning work of art,” and you can even create a new look for your portraits. You can also “let the phone write for you” thanks to AI. You can open the Quick Panel with just a tap, and you have more control over the physical buttons, too.
The update is 3GB in size, so make sure you only download it on a fast network. Interestingly, it still advertises itself as One UI 6.1, even though it gives you the same features that debuted in One UI 6.1.1 on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 last month.
After applying the update, you’ll be on the August security patch, which indicates that S24 phones are set to get another update this month, taking them to the September security patch. This also confirms the rumor of the long-delayed release of this update, which was initially supposed to be released last month – so it’s coming with the August patch.
