New Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL renders leak | Infinium-tech
Ahead of Google’s upcoming hardware launch event on August 13, we’ve seen a lot of leaks about the upcoming devices, and today two new renders have leaked, showing the vanilla Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro XL (the de facto successor to the Pixel 8 Pro in size).

Google’s lineup is going to get a little more confusing all at once on August 13, as it’s expected to launch four new smartphones: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The Pixel 9 Pro isn’t a successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, at least not in size, as it’s shaped similarly to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 9, but it shares the insides with the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a successor to last year’s original Pixel Fold, so this new naming scheme might take a little getting used to, but it makes sense once you’re fully familiar with it.
The recently leaked pricing is also confusing at first glance, and it boils down to this: some versions will cost the same as their predecessors, but some versions will see a price hike.
The new renders don’t really show us anything new, the Pixel 9 will have one camera less than the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, as we already knew, and the new devices feature a new design for the camera island at the back.
A rumor from last week tipped the cameras in detail. All these handsets are expected to feature Google’s next-gen Tensor G4 chipset.
