Motorola brings Edge 50 Neo, Razr 50 Ultra in new Mocha Mousse color | Infinium-tech
Pantone announced its color of the year 2025, and it’s called Mocha Mousse. As the color company’s partner, Motorola has announced that two of its phones will be redesigned in a new brown color.
The devices are the midranger Edge 50 Neo and the foldable Razr 50 Ultra, known as the Razr+ 2024 in the United States. Interestingly, the clamshell received its second consecutive Color of the Year after its launch in Peach Fuzz, which was last year’s Pantone pick.
Pantone describes the color as a “warm brown that hints at the delectable quality of cocoa, chocolate and coffee and fulfills our desire for comfort.” Motorola implemented the color on devices in two price ranges because it is a “versatile and stylish” option that gives more customers options for “connection, joy and self-expression.”
The press release doubled down on the marketing language and even claimed that the devices “reflect the soft warmth and sensory nature of color, encouraging users to participate in self-care and life’s simple pleasures Are.”
The paint job includes a soft inlay inspired by coffee grounds. The materials of the Edge 50 Neo and Razer 50 Ultra panels will remain the same, but it looks like the Neo will keep the gray grisaille frame.
Motorola didn’t provide details about pricing and availability, nor which memory option the color will get (the Razr+ only comes with 12/256GB). The company simply said that the new version will be available in select markets around the world.
