Mediatek reveals date for Dimensity 9400 arrival | Infinium-tech
MediaTek will launch its next flagship chipset on October 9. The announcement was made on Weibo, where the Taiwanese company said it is expecting “a new generation of MediaTek products.”
The post doesn’t name the new chipset powering the AI NPU, but we expect it to be called the Dimensity 9400 and feature Arm’s Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU.
The new chipset will reportedly feature an octa-core CPU: 1×3.63 GHz Cortex-X925 + 3×2.8 GHz Cortex-X4 + 4×2.1 GHz Cortex-A725. Leaked benchmarks have revealed that the processor performance will be 30% better than the previous one, while the GPU could be the most powerful on the market.
Oppo is expected to launch two Find X8 phones with Dimensity 9400 – vanilla and Pro. We also expect the Vivo X200 series to introduce at least four phones with the MediaTek platform soon after its launch, but the company is yet to comment on the same.
