HTC Vive Eagle announced with 12MP camera, AI translation and 36-hour battery life | Infinium-tech
HTC made a big bet to VR years ago when it launched its Vive Series Headset, and the manufacturer is now entering a new frontier with his Vive Eagle AI Glasses. These are a contestant from Ray-Ban Meta with a goal to look like regular glasses, but at the same time offer an FPV camera, on-device AI features and stereo speakers.
The Vive Eagle comes in many translucent colors, including black, berry, coffee and gray. They sports a 12MP ultra-wide camera, which captures 3,024 × 4,032 px photos and 1,512 × 2,016 px videos up to 30fps. The right frame has an LED capture light, which others know that you are recording.

Glasses come with Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 General 1 Paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. They weigh less than 49 grams with their Zeiss lens and provide IP54 ingres protection against water and dust.
Vive Eagle supports Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and pairs through VIVE connect app with any iOS 17.6+ or Android 10+ phones. You are also integrated into temples to open-air stereo speakers.

HTC is bringing its Vive AI Voice Assistant, which is compatible with Google Gemini and Chatgpt (BETA). You also get a real-time translation and on-device conversion for spoken audio with the support of 13 languages.

Glasses come with a 235mAh battery. They are rated for 36 hours for standby, 4.5 hours continuous music playback and voice calls up to 3 hours. When you need to recharge, you can do this with a bundle magnetic charger. It promises 50% charge in 10 minutes and 80% top-up in 23 minutes.
