Honor tipped to launch a Snapdragon-powered device with a 9,000 mAh battery | Infinium-tech
This year many brands have launched smartphones with Si/C batteries, enabling them to pack high-density, high-capacity batteries into smartphones without increasing the thickness. As a result, smartphones with 6,000+ mAh batteries are becoming common. Honor also launched a phone with a 7,200 mAh battery a few months ago, called the Honor GT Pro. And now, we hear that the Chinese brand is planning to launch a smartphone with a 9,000 mAh Si/C battery.
The term comes from a trusted tipster digital chat stationWho also claimed that this smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon flagship chip. However, it is unclear whether it will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
There’s no word from Honor about this 9,000mAh battery smartphone, but the brand is set to unveil the new Magic8 series smartphones later today, which will include a few new tablets. One of them is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
