Honor is also working on a wide foldable to compete with Samsung and Apple | Infinium-tech
According to a tipster on Weibo, Honor is planning major changes to its foldable lineup. According to their report, the Magic Versus series could be replaced with a completely new foldable.
It can’t be mistaken for the main Magic V lineup, with its next installment arriving next month. Sadly, the source claims that the V Flip successor is not coming in 2026.

In any case, Honor is reportedly working on a new, wider foldable. Given the most recent leaks about the upcoming iPhone Fold, the Oppo Find N7, and the rumored Samsung “Wide Fold” (not an official name), it’s probably safe to assume that the handset will feature a 4:3 display, which will be the hottest new thing in 2026.
The 4:3 aspect ratio would make the device significantly wider than the existing Magic Vs3, but unlike what Samsung plans to do, Honor is replacing its more affordable Magic Vs foldable lineup. Apple plans to use it for its only foldable, while Samsung could use it for its more premium Z Fold model, slotting between the Z Fold8 and Z Trifold.
