Honor announces the MagicBook Art 14 with Snapdragon X Elite and a bunch of AI tools | Infinium-tech
Honor had a busy day at this year’s IFA in Berlin, launching several new devices for global markets, including the MagicBook Art 14. But in addition to the Intel-powered version, the company also announced the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon PC.
This model is now officially launching, having not been released in China before, and it seems to have pretty much the same hardware, but with a Snapdragon X Elite inside. This will likely enable better power efficiency, longer battery life, and more on-board AI features.
The device still uses a 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen with a 3120 x 2080px resolution and weighs just 1kg, and measures 1cm thick. It’s an equally powerful and lightweight package, and Honor calls it “the lightest AI PC on the market.”
Honor has leveraged the AI capabilities of the Snapdragon X Elite to optimize certain background processes to improve performance and power draw. The top 14 most used applications on Windows receive under-the-hood optimizations based on your usage habits.
The device also features Honor’s AI Agent, which helps with everyday tasks and can also identify apps with unwanted subscriptions and cancel them for you. This AI agent will also be included in the Magic7 series. Another AI tool will help you identify deepfakes,
Honor is striving for a more seamless ecosystem experience with the so-called Magic Ring to bring your devices closer to each other. It lets you use peripherals and apps across different platforms by connecting your phone, tablet and PC (in this case, the MagicBook 14 Art Snapdragon). You can also send and receive messages, calls, files and share your screen from one device to another.
Honor hasn’t yet revealed when it will release the MagicBook 14 Art Snapdragon, nor has it revealed a price. However, we’re hoping to get that information soon.
