Here’s an iPhone Fold mockup next to the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z TriFold, and Huawei Pura X | Infinium-tech
The iPhone Fold is expected to launch later this year as Apple’s first foldable smartphone. The most notable thing about it, at least from our leaks so far, is its form factor, meaning it’s wider than most of its competitors, while opening straight up into landscape mode.
Thus, when opened, its aspect ratio is more rectangular and less square than other similar devices. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Trifold, seen here next to a mockup of the iPhone Fold, is the exception, as it basically opens into a 10-inch tablet, but folds twice as far.

Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold7 below, the iPhone Fold is obviously smaller when unfolded, but it’s also obviously more rectangular and less square shaped.

Finally, here it is next to Huawei’s even weirder Pura Of course, the iPhone Fold is bigger and wider, and folds the other way, but there’s a slight similarity here.

Anyway, all these photos prove is just how unique the iPhone Fold form factor will be – we’ve never really seen anything like it. That said, its exclusivity is unlikely to last for very long – both Samsung and Oppo are already rumored to have started copycat machines, designing wider book-style foldables of their own, perhaps if the iPhone Fold is very successful.
