Google Pixel 10a disassembly nets it a very good repairability score | Infinium-tech
Google launched the Pixel 10a in February and released it in early March, and today published a video showing its disassembly. We’ve embedded it below for your viewing pleasure. Getting into the phone requires a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen the adhesive that holds the back plate in place, and then everything is back to normal.

Unfortunately, the USB port is soldered to the mainboard, which complicates replacement. On the other hand, there is a pull pouch to help you take out the battery, which makes the process relatively simple. The speaker has a mesh rubber gasket to prevent water from getting inside.
Lastly, the Pixel 10a got a repairability score of 8.5 out of 10, where 10 would mean it’s the easiest to repair and 0 would mean it’s a nightmare. The overall interior design was considered very good, and the phone received maximum marks in three out of five categories: how easy it is to find replacement parts, how easy it is to replace the screen, and how easy it is to replace the battery.
It got good but not perfect scores for organization and repair time, and its worst score relates to how easy it is to replace other parts like the charger port.
