Google Photos now lets you use text prompts to turn your images into videos | Infinium-tech
Today Google announced what it’s calling “a big update” to the Photos to Videos feature in Google Photos. You now get “more creative control” to turn your images into “dynamic short videos”.
That’s because you can now use text prompts to create videos, provided you’re over 18 years of age. You can type a custom text prompt to describe the movement, style, or effect you want, and easily edit and refine your prompt to improve the resulting video.
Even if you don’t know what to ask for, you still get the existing micro prompts and I feel lucky that the options were there before, but now there are also quick suggestions that you can tap on for “quick video inspiration.”
Any video you create from an image, whether you use Google’s template or a custom prompt, “can now include audio by default to enhance your dynamic creations,” Google says.
