Gallery: Here are some Oppo Find X8 Ultra camera samples from a photo walk around Xi’an | Infinium-tech

We were lucky enough to attend Oppo’s launch event for Find X8 Ultra in China and decided to take advantage of the opportunity by putting our cameras through a quick camera exercise.

We took the phone around the capital of the beautiful XI’an – Shanxi province – and took photos on 0.6X, 1x, 3x and 6X. We also spread the 6X zoom camera beyond its optical range and snatched some low-light and picture samples.

The idea here is to give you a glimpse on the imaging capacity of Find X8 Ultra, not to spoil our detailed analysis of its cameras. So we will keep it brief with technical talks.

Photos show the technical talent of X8 Ultra from 15 mm, all the way to 135 mm (and beyond). Image processing is impressively consistent among cameras – sharpness, opposite, and especially tonity.

There are some color temperature differences between wide angle cameras and zoom cameras, but at least two couples are consistent with each other – wide holds the same color temperature, and therefore zoom.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra has an impressive zoom range. This is a strong argument because ultra cameraphone has the most sensible option of focal length in its class. You have a 70 mm midrange zoom option, which is supported by a huge 1/1.56-inch sensor (only 1/1.4-inch of Vivo X100 Ultra and X200 on 85 mm focal length), and a new bright F/2.1 lens.

And if you need to capture the fine expansion over long distances, you have to jump on 135 mm telephoto camera, now supported by a large sensor and a bright F/3.1 lens. This is a big step from f/4.3, especially in low light.

6x zoom camera is very useful when moving from 135 mm. This helps to maintain fine details in the distance, which otherwise gets out of reach of 70 mm shooter.

Both 70 mm and 135 mm focal length are tried and tested for illustration. We have captured some samples by each. Hasselblad-tuned portrait mode performs miracles to increase subject separation from the background.

Finally, here are some snaps from the main camera of 1 inch in low light. It is the most capable sensor for the work of slow light so far – its impressive light -metaphorized abilities means that it takes photos in very rapidly in deep conditions compared to managing a pixel, iPhone, or galaxy flagship. And there is a large-camera singing due to large sensors in the resulting image.
