Galaxy Unpacked date is official, S26 leaks continue, Week 7 in review | Infinium-tech
It was a huge week for Samsung Galaxy S26 leaks, as most of our most read articles were related to the S26 series.
Samsung has finally confirmed the launch date of the S26 series. As expected, we’ll see the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra launch for the first time on February 25th. Samsung’s big launch event will take place in San Francisco and will be livestreamed on Samsung.com as well as YouTube. Samsung also went ahead and opened reservations for the S26 series. Users who sign up for the event are eligible for a chance to win a $30/€30 voucher, trade-in bonus and other vouchers.
The series is expected to include the Galaxy S26, S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung’s launch event will probably be about AI.
Meanwhile, the S26 leaks keep coming. We got our most detailed leaks yet of the trio of upcoming flagships, detailing their spec sheets, dimensions, color options, and EU starting prices.
However, this was not the end of the S26 leaks. We also got some official renders for all three models, giving us another look at their designs and new color options.
The Galaxy S26 series is launching on February 25.

Outside of the Samsung world, we’ve also seen leaked pricing information for the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. Despite the ever-rising memory prices, both upcoming flagship iPhones are expected to be priced similarly to their predecessors. That means $1,099/€1,299 for the 18 Pro and $1,199/€1,449 for the 18 Pro Max.
Apple is reportedly doing everything possible to avoid increasing prices.

We received the Motorola Signature for review. This is the first in Motorola’s new premium lineup of phones, and we’re loving how it looks, especially in the trendy Pantone Martini Olive color we got. The back has an attractive “linen-inspired” texture, and the phone’s box even includes its own scent.
The 5-series remains MIA.
Xiaomi 18 series may be announced around September.
Although Sony will no longer be making Bravia TVs in-house, it has confirmed that Xperia phones are still being made and we even got to see the Xperia 1 VIII and 10 VIII in the GSMA IMEI database as proof. We’ve also got news that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will have not one but two 200MP cameras.
