Samsung is finally set to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco next week. Just days before the announcement, a tipster has shared new information about the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
According to well-known tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have an upgraded selfie camera. While it will retain the 12MP front-facing camera, matching the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the device will use a new sensor.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to switch to a Sony sensor, replacing the Samsung ISOCELL 3LU used in its predecessor. Other specifications are expected to remain unchanged, including a 1/3.2-inch sensor size, 1.12μm pixel size, and f/2.2 aperture.
Notably, the front camera is said to offer a wide 85-degree field of view. The hole-punch cutout is also expected to be slightly larger than that of the S25 Ultra.
It’s unclear what improvements the Sony sensor will bring to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but we won’t have to wait much longer to find out. In the meantime, you can check out all the information about the phone here.
