Galaxy S26 Ultra could mark the comeback of variable aperture cameras on Samsung phones | Infinium-tech
Samsung was the first smartphone brand to introduce variable aperture cameras with Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in 2018. It was later maintained by the flagship that comes, but was dropped with the Galaxy S20 series. However, we can see that the variable aperture cameras return to Samsung phone with the Galaxy S26 series next year.
The word comes from tipster Snow universeWho said that Samsung is considering launching a variable aperture with the Galaxy S26 Ultra with its primary camera. However, it is not clear that Samsung would adopt a double aperture approach such as it did for the S9 series or if it would like Xiaomi, which offers several aperture settings on 14 ultra.

Anyway, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is not launching before next year, so it is too early to say anything with certainty as the plans can always change. We will make more clarity on whether the Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with a variable aperture or not, as we are close to its launch.
