Fourth One UI 8.5 beta is now out with a bunch of fixes | Infinium-tech
Samsung has just released the fourth beta build of the upcoming One UI 8.5. This version of the company’s Android skin will make its debut with the Galaxy S26 series, which is likely to be unveiled on February 25.
The fourth beta was rumored to arrive in mid-January, but if that was ever the plan, it was apparently delayed by a few weeks. Nevertheless, it is available for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in Samsung’s home country Korea.
The size of the update is 1.5GB and the new firmware version ends in ZZAL. This fixes an issue where a call would automatically switch to speakerphone, an error that occurred when checking call history in the Phone app, an issue where only one side could hear audio during a call when a Bluetooth headset was connected, an error where tapping the call log icon would paste the phone number into the keypad, and an issue where selecting Copy in AI Selection did not automatically close the AI Selection menu.
If your eligible phone is enrolled in One UI 8.5 beta in a supported country, you can check for this latest update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
