Android 15 update comes with a huge issue for Pixel 6 owners | Infinium-tech
Google finally started rolling out Android 15 to still-supported Pixel devices last week. As is often the case, the rollout has not been problem-free. Far from it, in fact. Today a group of Pixel 6 owners are reporting a pretty major problem. In fact, this may be the biggest gain for you after an update.
The Pixel 6 units in question have simply been left unusable – bricksIn technical terms. This seems to happen randomly and unexpectedly, but there may be an explanation – two users on Reddit have reported that their Pixel 6 devices shut down after enabling the Private Spaces feature. However, another user claims that their device froze during regular use, so it may not be quite a cut-and-dry situation.
What all the reports have in common is that the Pixel 6 has completely died, with none of the usual troubleshooting methods working. Obviously, these are at least a few different reports so far, so the issue doesn’t seem to be very widespread. However, it’s still pretty bad, so if you have a Pixel 6 and haven’t updated to Android 15 yet, we recommend you hold off until Google has some kind of solution. .
