Xiaomi 18 is getting a camera upgrade | Infinium-tech
According to a prolific Chinese leaker going through Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming Xiaomi 18 will come with a periscope telephoto camera. In fact, it is likely to be the same 50MP f/3.0 camera with 5x optical zoom that the Xiaomi 17 Pro uses.
The Xiaomi 18 will also get an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, wireless charging support as well as great dust and water resistance. It is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 SoC, although it is still unclear which one – rumored to be the 8 Elite Gen 6 but there will also be an 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Xiaomi may opt for a ‘vanilla’ model to reduce some of the RAM inflation.
