WhatsApp will let you prevent others from auto-saving media you send them | Infinium-tech
WhatsApp is working on a new privacy feature that was seen in the latest beta build for Android. This will be in development for some time, so do not expect to get it immediately.
When you do, however, it will let you add enlarged privacy, which means that people you talk will be prevented from being media, which you send to them auto-service on their equipment.
Generally, WhatsApp Auto-Save to every media item received on your phone. But when it is implemented, you will have the option to prevent other people from doing so, as seen in the screenshot above.
This is the same behavior that applies to the already disappearance messages. The new bit here is that you will be able to set it for general messages and related media. This feature will also ban the export of entire chat history for chats with users who have activated this new setting. This message will not be able to stop forwarding, though.
Additionally, if you enable this “advanced chat privacy”, the participants in a chat with you will not be able to use the meta AI in any way. Of course, WhatsApp can add more accessories to this feature while it is in development. Anyway, when it launches for everyone, it will be opt-in.
