WhatsApp is testing a new guest chats feature | Infinium-tech
WhatsApp is testing a new guest chat facility that allows users to start chat with people who do not have a WhatsApp account. As revealed HobbThe feature is present in WhatsApp beta for Android (version 2.25.22.13), and it is expected to be implemented in the regular WhatsApp Android and iOS apps in the near future.
Guest chat facility WhatsApp users in their contacts allow people to send a chat message, email or a chat link through social media, which do not have an app or an active WhatsApp account. Once the link is opened, the non-vahetsapp user will be transferred to a platform similar to the WhatsApp web, where they can chat with an end-to-end encryption with WhatsApp users.
Guest chats come with several limits because users will not be able to start media files, GIF, voice messages or video calls. They work on their ecosystem of WhatsApp. The possibility of new facility is applied as part of the European Union platform interoperability measures, which require separate online services to communicate with each other.
