WhatsApp gets multiple account support on iOS, cross-platform transfer from iOS to Android | Infinium-tech
Today, WhatsApp has announced new features, including support for two accounts on the same iPhone. This feature was first available on Android and has finally been made available on iOS as well. If you use it, you will always know which account you are on because your profile picture will appear in the bottom tab.
Next, cross-platform chat transfer now supports moving your history from iOS to Android. You can also find and delete large files directly in the chat – just tap the chat name and select Manage Storage. You can choose to clear only the media files from any chat, keeping your chat history intact.
WhatsApp now suggests you use stickers when typing emoji, and you can swap emojis with stickers with just one tap. Meta AI helps you edit photos directly in chat before sending, of course wherever Meta AI is available.
And finally, AI writing help can draft suggested responses based on your conversation, keeping your chat completely private. All these features are currently in the process of rolling out and will be available to everyone on WhatsApp “soon”.
