Weekly poll: do you still have your ringer on or is your phone on vibrate all the time? | Infinium-tech
A long ago, polyphonic ringtone was a notable feature. Years later, the iPhone Ringtones (Marimba) immediately became recognizable. Earlier it was Nokia tune. Even today, smartphone makers tried hard to make ringtones – such as Samsung rented a concert hall to connect Vivaladi’s The Four Seasons for a UI 8.
But do people still leave their ringer? Do you? Talking about Apple, it recently removed the ring/silent switch, which was also present on the first iPhone. This replaced it with an action button and camera control. Similarly, OnePlus rinse its alert slider.
Goodbye, alert slider
All this states that people set their phone in a way and leave it in this way – there is no need to silence the ringer for class or if it is already silent if it is already silent, is it right? Instead you may have a shortcut key.
Additionally, an increase in the popularity of smartwatches and bands means that you do not need a phone to make noise – wearing a wearing on your wrist is more than enough.
What do you do with your phone – do you have a ringer all the time, all the time, do you manually switch or do you do something else? If you have an interesting or unusual setup, tell us in the comments.
And when we are on it, if you use the ringer, have you taken out a custom ringtones or do you use just a ringtone that came up with the phone? Perhaps the default ringtone too?
