vivo Y39 runs Geekbench, could be branded Jovi in some places | Infinium-tech
Vivo’s upcoming Y39 has reportedly been spotted on Geekbench. It achieved a 912 single-core score and 2,214 multi-core score in Geekbench 6.3.0, so clearly this won’t be a high-end device.
And indeed it seems to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which is a lower-end SoC. The phone supports 5G, and the tested prototype had 8GB of RAM. Other RAM options may be available at launch.
The Y39 will run Android 15 from day one, and it may be branded as Jovi in Brazil due to a trademark dispute with Telefónica Brazil, which owns the Vivo name there.
No other specifications of the Y39 are known yet. Its predecessor, the Vivo Y38, was launched in May with the same chip, a 6.68-inch 120Hz LCD screen, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie snapper, and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging.
