Vivo only posted a video presentation of Vivo X200 Ultra’s camera features and it is a jam-pack 5-minute video on it. The phone will be officially unveiled next week (on Monday), but the company has now been constructing it for weeks and we already know most of the details.
The video goes on three cameras on the phone: 14 mm, 35 mm and 85 mm. Both 14 mm ultra-vide and 35 mm main use the same sensor, 1/1.28 “Sony Lit-818. It is mainly paired with F/1.69 lens, on ultra-wide it is an F/2.0 lens with OIS (we will return to it).

The telephoto camera in the 85 mm zes epo lens (“apocromatic” means “free from color”, that is, free from colors). This camera module has a 200MP sensor for zooming beyond 85 mm.
Going back to an ultra-wide camera, it has an optical image stabilization (OIS) system capable of improving up to 2 °. Coupled with electronic stabilization, it can achieve impressive performance on video in March.
Talking about the video, the phone will be able to record 4K 120fps footage from all three cameras or 4K 60fps with 10-bit logs. This includes DCG HDR and 14 stops of Dynamic Range, plus log to recner conversion Luts.
You probably heard that Vivo X200 Ultra will have two image processing chips. The Vivo Vs1 is the company’s first pre-processing chip and is described as “AI ISP”. It is a fairly small animal with 80 tops and is also a skilled animal, which receives 16 tops/W. For reference, microsoft requires 40 tops to certify the computer as Copilot+ competent. Snapdragon X Elite (laptop chip, not mobile 8 elite) is nPU rated for 45 tops. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, by the way, 9400 demeritations of other X200 models are not 9400.
Vivo Execs have posted camera samples from X200 Ultra on several occasions, such as this ultra-wind shots, 10X, 20X and 30x zoom shots and portrait photos.
The company is preparing a detailed photography kit for the phone, including 200 mm add-on lens that will be offered up to 8.7x optical zoom and 70x hybrid at the top of the 3.7x periscope of the phone (teaser post described 35X/800 mm shots as “highly utilized”).
The Vivo X200 Ultra will be fully unveiled next week and will not be alone as it will be included by Vivo X200S.
