vivo details new color science coming to the X300 Ultra and X300s | Infinium-tech
The Vivo X300 Ultra is set to make its debut in China later this month, and with it the teaser campaign is in full swing. The latest information about the upcoming Ultra flagship comes from Vivo product manager Han Boxiao and details the all-new Blueprint Native Color System.
It is a completely new color science system, built from the ground up with the task of providing natural color reproduction for images. Vivo says the updated Blueprint Native system builds on years of accumulated imaging experience and marks a “complete reinvention” in its approach to color rendition. It is said to deliver better luminous quality and authentic-looking colors while preserving natural light and shadow details in shots.

Portrait shots are said to deliver more natural skin textures, and Vivo is including a brand new Smooth EV dynamic compression algorithm, which manages to dynamically recompose multi-frame HDR data as soon as you press the shutter button. Elsewhere, Vivo’s Blueprint color model aims to mimic color changes the way human eyes perceive changes in hue.
The ultimate goal is to achieve a professional camera-grade look and feel with authentic, true colors without over-processing and artificial HDR. Blueprint Native Color will be available on both the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300s.
