The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 are not getting faster charging | Infinium-tech
Now that Samsung’s $ 400 Galaxy A36 fasts on 45W charging fast, do you think the company’s most expensive model will get a uniform upgrade? If you know Samsung well, the answer should be clear.
China’s 3C certified SM-F7660 and SM-F9660-which will be the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z fold7-both will support 9V, 2.77A charging. Doing mathematics that works up to the expected 25W.
Certification notes that both are sold without chargers, but also note Samsung’s EP-TA 800 with compatibility. It is a vintage model at this point, which is from the Galaxy S10 era.
This is not very surprising because the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to have a 2024 model, ie 4,400mAh, to have the same battery capacity. The Z Flip7 is getting a small collision with two cells with 4,174mAh (4,000mAh on Z Flip6).
Nothing 45W charging below 4,500mAh (S22+capacity), it seems and Samsung is slow in adopting silicon-carbon technology, which provides high capacity on the same battery volume.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 will be unveiled in July. For the Galaxy Z Flip Fe, that may have to wait for the exinos 2500 chipset to be available.
