The Pulse Pro is the first HMD phone to receive Android 15 | Infinium-tech
HMD is certainly doing a great job with its device lineup. Unfortunately, the update schedule and frequency has been a bit irregular, but ultimately, the company delivers on its promises. In the case of the HMD Pulse Pro, the phone is in line for two major software updates and three years of security patches.
HMD has now started its Android 15 rollout with the Pulse Pro. We are already receiving reports of units receiving the OTA. It weighs around 3.12GB and also includes the December 2024 security patch. The update promises big performance improvements, privacy and security upgrades, adaptive battery improvements, and advanced notification controls.
This OTA seems to be global, but it’s still being distributed in batches, so your unit may not see it right away.
HMD isn’t particularly good at sharing official update schedules, but we do know of at least a few devices and device families that are confirmed to get Android 15.
