The next iPad mini might come with a huge display upgrade | Infinium-tech
Apple’s next iPad Mini may upgrade massive performance in tow, can be switched to OLED from IPS LCD panels. Apple is currently testing the Samsung-made OLED panels for the lowest iPad, and this would definitely be a very welcome change to see the next iPad Mini with OLED screen.
It is rumored to make his debut in 2026, two years after its predecessor, starting last October. The 2024 iPad Mini was also rumored to get back an OLED panel in 2023, but this did not happen clearly and so the new display was postponed for the next recurrence in the introduction line.
It is interesting to see that Apple walks this route, invests in the smallest iPad – this most means that the iPad mini line is quite well, sales -wise. The iPad Air has also been rumored to get into OLED action in 2026, so next year we can see that finally all iPads have OLED screens, which is different from the entry-level model, which will probably stick to its cheap price with LCD.
Talking about reaching a price point, the OLED screen of iPad mini is most likely that LTPS will not be LTPO, and will definitely not be a leading oLED. We are talking with decent-stacks, but the record-breaking does not shine, and perhaps there is no high fresh rate-to be a separate factor for more expensive professionals.
