The Indian Oppo A6s is the global Oppo A6x, because why not | Infinium-tech
Oppo’s A6 family is absolutely ridiculous with 21 members (so far). A lot of these are the same devices under slightly different names for different markets, because Oppo probably thinks the internet isn’t global or something.
This is by far the most confusing lineup we’ve ever seen. Case in point – there’s already an A6s that launched in January, but now according to a new leak, it’s coming to India with different specifications. So, ladies and gentlemen, meet the Indian A6s. In fact, it is the global A6x. So why not launch it in India as the A6x? Who knows.

It comes with a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,125-nit peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. The A6s will be offered in Aurora Gold and Plum Purple colors in India. The latter is available in other markets, the former is not, so it may be India-only.
It’s still unclear when to expect it, but more information about it will likely leak soon, so stay tuned.
