The European Realme 16 Pro has a smaller battery and better software support | Infinium-tech
Realme unveiled the 16 Pro for India in January, and now the European model has been listed on the official site, revealing some key differences. While the Indian model has a 7,000 mAh battery, the European model only gets a 6,500 mAh battery. Also, while the Indian model supports 80W wired charging, the European one only does 45W.

In European markets, the phone is only offered with 8GB of RAM (paired with 256GB or 512GB of storage), but the Indian version is also offered in a 12/256GB variant. Both NFC and eSIM are supported in Europe but not in India, and not surprisingly there is no charger in the box in Europe but there is one in India.

Finally, the promise of software support is also different, more for Europe and less for India. Here’s a handy table detailing all the differences between the European and Indian variants.
| Imagination | Europe | India |
|---|---|---|
| RAM + Storage | 8GB + 256GB 8GB + 512GB |
8GB + 128GB 8GB + 256GB 12GB + 256GB |
| Battery Capacity (Normal) | 6500 mAh | 7000 mAh |
| Battery Capacity(Rated) | 6345 mAh | 6830 mAh |

Thankfully, everything else remained the same during the phone’s journey from India to Europe, so you’re getting a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 6,500-nit peak brightness, the Dimensity 7300 Max SoC, a 200MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie camera.
