Tecno Camon 40 premiere as Namaste – a very complicated mid -ranger that started only in MWC. In Barcelona we handled all four members of the Camon 40 series, but now there is time for a proper unboxing.

Tecno Camon is the best of 40 premiere series. It ships either this cute emerald lake green or galaxy black, both two-tone finish. There is a phone inside the box, a colorful case with a vegetarian leather finish, 70W charger, and USB-C to USB-A cable.

Last year’s Camon 30 premiere was built very well, and it had a rear panel with a specific texture. Tecno has followed the same design path with its successor, which we like.

The new camera ring has an nervous edge, which you will find in watches or high-end cameras. This is mostly unchanged camera system, however, this is not a bad thing – triple 50MP cameras are all great. The main shooter has a 23 mm F/1.9 lens and a large 1/1.56-inch imager, then a 70 mm f/2.2 zoom with an impressive 1/2.76-inch sensor and a 14 mm f/2.2 ultravide with a 70 mm f/2.2 zoom and the same size sensor and autofocus with a 15 cm and a 15 cm closer sensor and a 15 cm closure sensor. The fourth 50MP sensor is upfront for 24 mm F/2.5 selfie camera.

Camon 40 premiere keeps the red tally light at the back – it can also highlight light for information.

Other major reforms include a sharp (if slightly small) 144hz display, and full IP68/IP69 water and dust protection – the previous premiere was only prepared.

We prefer Tecno’s Camon Premier Phone – they are better than the crowded glasses (especially on the imaging front) and most of the construction quality.
