Sony Xperia 10 VII is now receiving the Android 16 update | Infinium-tech
Sony has already released the Android 16 update for the Xperia 1 VII, Xperia 1 VI, and Xperia 10 VI, and now the rollout is finally starting to reach the Xperia 10 VII as well, which was launched in September.

The update has been rolled out to the mid-ranger over-the-air and is identified as build 72.1.A.2.65. It’s a 1GB download, so make sure to download it on a fast enough network.

So far, reports say it’s widely available in Europe and Japan, with more markets no doubt coming soon. The changelog is extensive and includes modes that let you block notifications to help you concentrate in situations like driving, working or sleeping.
You also get a new recommended option in the display quality settings, there’s a new way to set the screen’s white balance, a new way to turn Side Sense on and off, you get the ability to open lock screen settings from the home screen, and you can now also see the battery status. Finally, screen mirroring is available in the quick settings panel via the Cast function.
