Some regions will get stable One UI 7 later than expected, including the US | Infinium-tech
Samsung began rolling the Galaxy Z fold 6 for the Galaxy S23 series and a UI 7 beta for the US, UK, Korea and Jade Flip 6 in India. You think it will be in the first wave of countries to get a stable release of Samsung’s new software and you will be almost right.
According to the global press release, Stable One UI 7 Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are coming on 7 April. While checking the press release for the UK, Korea and India, they all lie on only one date, 7 April.
US press releaseHowever, it says: “The update will start on April 10 with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip6 in the US, slowly rolling out for more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.”
Thankfully, this is a small delay – we have waited for this long time, what is another 3 days? – But patience should be diluted among the owners of the old galaxy devices.
There is no press release for Canada or Mexico, so we do not know whether it is a North American issue or something specific for America.
To be fair, the term word -release is unclear in a way. The US stated that “the official rollout of a UI7 will begin on April 7” and then it moves forward to clarify that the US release is scheduled for April 10. All other local press releases we saw, only 7 April claims and there is no country-specific time.
This may mean that other countries will have to wait a few days – or not. It is best to share yourself with patience at this point. Especially if your phone is older than S24.
