Snapdragon 8s Elite won’t be called that, launch timeline leaks, specs get reaffirmed | Infinium-tech
Qualcomm went from Snapdragon 8 General 3 last year to Snapdragon 8 Elite, and therefore, we have long assumed that Snapdragon 8S General 3 will be the successor Snapdragon 8S Elite. However, according to a new rumor outside China, this will not be the case.
In fact, there will be only one aristocratic class – at least until the successor of 8 aristocrats appears in or after October. Better put – only an elite line will be, actually a flagship one. Like the next 8s, an upper-concert chip is not worthy of the elite designation in the view of the Qualcomm, if this rumor exits, of course.
Therefore, instead, it will be called Snapdragon 8S General 4. It is allegedly going to become official in early April, with the first phone being used, then being unveiled in mid -April.
The chip is said to be made on tsmc’s 4Nm process, and its cpu will be all-bit be all-bit like like MediaTek’s recently launched dimensity 8400. Clocked at 3.21 GHz, Three Cortex-A720 CORES Clocked at 3.01 GHz, two cortex-a720 clos clocked at 2.8 ghz, and two cortex-a720 core 2.02 wetz.
Snapdragon 8 Elite also has Adreno 825 GPU as Adreno 830, but certainly with low performance. SLC Cash is 6 MB, L3 Cash is 8 MB, and the Antutu score is clearly more than 2 million.
