Samsung’s One UI 7’s first beta is reported buggier than usual | Infinium-tech
Samsung has been working on One UI 7 based on Android 15 for a long time, and the release of the first beta has seen several delays, with the company rumored to be in an effort to significantly improve its skin.
However big improvements mean big changes, and they never come without a number of nasty bugs. According to prolific tipster Ice Universe, this is exactly what you should expect from the first One UI 7 beta, whenever it eventually arrives.
One UI 7 beta may not launch smoothly, and there are a lot of bugs. Even with the latest version of XKB, there are still bugs in the animation, and they are new bugs.
There are a lot of things that Samsung has fallen behind on in recent years. It is very difficult for them to make it…– ICE UNIVERSE (@UniverseIce) 15 November 2024
Of course, this being a beta, you would naturally expect there to be some issues – otherwise it would go straight to the stable release. But Ice Universe claims this will be a very rough beta, with many animation-related bugs, including new bugs introduced in the latest internal test build.
This also makes sense since animations are a big focus of what’s changing in One UI 7 (thankfully, we might add). While Ice Universe noted that Samsung has “lag behind in many ways” in terms of software in recent years, he is optimistic about the Korean company’s ability to fix all the problems in the near future. And it all starts with the release of One UI 7, which could arrive in its first public beta form as early as next week.
