Samsung unveils Freestyle+ portable projector | Infinium-tech
Ahead of CES, today Samsung unveiled the Freestyle+ projector, which is portable. It comes with a peak brightness of 430 ISO lumens, which isn’t much – basically okay for a dark room but if there’s ambient light around it won’t let you see much.
That said, it’s about twice as bright as Samsung’s previous generation, so there’s that. The Freestyle+ features a 180-degree rotating design that supports projection at almost any angle, including walls, ceilings, and even floors, without the need for any additional accessories.

It has a built-in 360-degree speaker, which is “engineered to produce richer, fuller audio in a compact design”. According to the official press release, it can also work in sync with compatible Samsung soundbars via Q-Symphony, creating “a more layered and harmonious sound experience wherever it is used.”
The Freestyle+ 3D comes with Auto Keystone, which automatically corrects distortion even when projecting on uneven or non-flat surfaces like corners, curtains or angled walls. Real-Time Focus continuously adjusts focus as the projector moves or rotates, maintaining a clear, stable image without blur or visual noise. Screen Fit automatically adjusts the image to match the screen area when used with a projector screen. Wall calibration analyzes the color or pattern of the projection surface and reduces visual distractions to see clearly.
The Freestyle+ will be available in the first half of 2026. It will be displayed at Samsung’s exhibit space at CES. The price is still a mystery.
