Samsung says some One UI 7 AI features won’t be available to older devices | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s software chief Sally, recently revealed some interesting tidbits about the company’s latest UI 7.0 Android overlay in the post on the company’s website. He said that the Korean tech veterans have been developing a UI 7.0 for the last two to three years. Unfortunately, some features require more modern hardware to run, so some functionality will not be available on old Galaxy phones.
One of those characteristics is now brief. It shows relevant information based on day time and helps you keep it with your schedule. However, to run, now the brief is now dependent on Samsung’s personal data engine, which requires a severe number decrease by a powerful NPU. This is because it is not a cloud-based functionality.
