Samsung Project Moohan hands-on – GSMArena.com news | Infinium-tech
Samsung unveils its trio of Galaxy S25 phones and also teases the upcoming Galaxy S25 slim Edge at tomorrow’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Additionally, Samsung showcased its extended reality (XR) headset, Project Mohan, after the event. No one was allowed to touch or use the device, but we did get a chance to take some photos of it from the show floor.
From a visual standpoint, Samsung’s XR headset has some similarities with the Apple Vision Pro but we can also see some similarities in the Meta Quest Pro.
It appears that there are several cameras hidden behind the glass in the balcony. The upper half of the headset has several buttons while the fabric light seal extends across the top. The rear area has a padded headrest cushion, which is fairly standard for XR headsets.
Samsung Project Mohan XR headset
Samsung announced its XR headset in December and we know it will run on Google’s Android XR operating system. We also know that it is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip and Samsung has almost confirmed the same at this point.
Samsung will launch Project Mohan for developers first but no timeline has been given for its commercial launch yet. We expect more details with the actual launch later this year.
