Samsung launches Smart Tagged Baggage Service in partnership with Turkish Airlines | Infinium-tech
Today, Samsung has announced a partnership with Turkish Airlines to use SmartThings Find to locate lost bags of people traveling with the airline.
In such a situation, both the companies have launched smart tagged baggage service. This lets Turkish Airlines passengers track lost or delayed luggage using Samsung’s location-tracking service SmartThings Find.

Of course the idea here is that you will keep a Galaxy SmartTag in your luggage. Then, if your luggage is lost or delayed, you can send Turkish Airlines a link with location data in your lost luggage report.

You can also use the Change Device Image feature in SmartThings Find to upload a photo of your actual bag to the SmartThings app, making it easier to identify your luggage if it’s misplaced.
SmartThings Find uses Bluetooth Low Energy and ultra-wideband technology to locate Galaxy devices across a network of over 700 million. Samsung plans to expand cooperation with additional airlines for smart tagged baggage service.
