Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro runs Geekbench, reveals its chipset | Infinium-tech
A rumor in January told us that Samsung Galaxy Tab was working on the Active5 Pro Tablet, which would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7S General 3 chipset. Now, the device has been seen in the Geekbench online database, as a prototype ran a benchmark.
The listing confirms that it is actually Snapdragon 7S General 3. In the specific prototype running benchmarks, it was paired with 6GB of RAM. More options can be offered, as usual.
The tablet is expected to join the non-plant Active5, which was soon announced in Samsung’s portfolio in January. The Tab Active5 Pro has the model number SM-X356B. When it launches, it will run Android 15 out of the box at the top with a UI 7.
What is worth it, the prototype running Geekbench managed a single-core score of 1,179 and a multi-core score of 3,378. Tab Active4 Pro is all the way until August 2022, so it is definitely time for a replacement.
