Samsung Galaxy S25+ vs. Galaxy S25 Ultra | Infinium-tech
If you are looking at the new Galaxy S25 family for your next upgrade and the Big-screen experience is an essential, then you are probably thinking whether Samsung Galaxy S25+ is quite good or the high value tag of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is perfect for additional some features and camera’s praise.
With the previous generation, the Samsung was able to partially bridge the gap between the plus and the ultra model, keeping the ultra adequately separated. This year, the difference once again widened because there are some ultra-exclusive features, S Pen, and it offers a wisely larger performance. However, there are many users who will save a few rupees and get a plus model if it receives them almost the same user experience.
So, without further movement, let’s dive into the details and help you make decisions for yourself.

For the beginning, you can compare full glasses sheets or continue with the evaluation of our editor directly In the following text.
Size comparison
Even though both smartphones are quite large, there is a noticeable difference between size and feeling. The Galaxy S25 ultra is tall, slightly wide, thick and heftar. The corners are now slightly round compared to the S25+, but still sharp. This means that Ultra is difficult to handle.
There is also a difference between the build. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has a more premium chassis that includes Corning Gorilla Armer 2 security and a titanium frame on the front. On the other hand, S25+, Gorilla Glass Victus resides for 2 sheets and an aluminum frame.
Performance comparison
In addition to a clear size difference, the performance of the phone is almost identical. Both of them have the same resolution, panel technology, fresh rate etc. The only subtle difference is an anti-reflex coating. Ultra uses a DX anti-reflex coating for better sunlight and it actually makes a difference.
The performance of the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra is slightly above the peak 1,400 NitsBut the screen of S25 Ultra is easy to see under direct sunlight.
battery life
Given that both devices share almost the same battery capacity, display and similar chipset, it is not surprising that the battery life is comparable. In both cases, you will find excellent battery life, S25+ with S25 Ultra will be taken out of a small margin.
We struggle to find any meaningful difference in the standalone battery score, the largest but still trivial difference is video runtime.
Charging speed
When the 45W charging rate is fully used on PPS of Power delivery + Samsung, both devices can charge 0%to about an hour. There is no difference in charging speed, so whatever models you pick up.
Speaker test
Two phones use standard hybrid stereo speakers with comparable loud. Both scored “very good” on our loudness test, but there is a remarkable difference in how they sound.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra definitely has a warm and full-sounding track with more pronounced bass, while the Galaxy S25+ seems flat than. It is not that the plus’ speakers are bad, but S25 Ultra easily wins this round.
Display
There is absolutely zero difference in performance this year, no difference does the market. In the past, we have seen Ultra Ship with Qualcomm’s flagship SOC and Vanilla and The Plus Ship with Samsung’s in-house SOC, this year, all markets and models get the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Originally, it is a slightly overclock version of the original Snapdragon 8 Elite.
There is no difference in the memory configuration available for two phones. The S25 Ultra has a version with additional large storage – 12GB/1TB, but it is only available in China.
Benchmark performance
Whatever small difference you see in the benchmark score is mostly due to statistical error, so raw performance will be the same regardless of your choice.
Camera comparison
To this point in comparison, you must be thinking in advance that the difference between S25+ and S25 Ultra is somewhat trivial, but the difference in camera capacity may reconsider you.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra coincides with a large 200MP main sensor, a better ultravide camera with 50MP resolution and not one, but two telephoto units – a S25+3x camera and a 5X optical access.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S25+, 50MP main camera, 12MP ultravide camera and 3x zoom are arranged for 10MP telephoto unit. On the front, both handsets get a 12MP selfie cam with autofocus.
Let’s be correct than the real camera and see how much better ultra is.
image quality
To be honest, we expected a big difference between the Galaxy S25+ and Ultra. Given the pictures of the daylight, we see very little difference between the main cameras. Ultra solves more details in the shade, but the rendering of S25+uses slightly more artificial sharpness, causing the sequences to be more well defined. ,
S25+ vs S25U: 0.6x • 0.6x • 1x • 1x • 2x • 2x
In addition, the ultravide camera of ultravide S25+is certainly better, there is a possibility for the same reason. Pictures usually have a better definition. These differences are rather subtle, though.
S25+ vs S25U: 3x • 3x • 5x • 5x • 10x • 10x
The Galaxy S25 Ultra Benefits is as superiority you visit to the zoom level. The 2x crop zoom on S25 Ultra is slightly better, which should be expected as it is a crop from a particularly large sensor. The 3x zoom camera on Ultra displays better sharp and expansion and the same goes to 5x photos. Eventually, Ultra has a dedicated 5X zoom camera.
As far as 10x zoom photos are concerned, the difference is night and day. Ultra delivers the superior stils.
S25+ vs S25U: 0.6x • 0.6x • 1x • 1x • 2x • 2x
When it comes to night shooting, the Galaxy S25 ultra edges once again from S25+ only due to more competent zoom photography. As the zoom level increases, the S25 ultra provides better quality. However, we struggle to find any meaningful difference in the main and ultravide cameras. The photos look literally similar.
S25+ vs S25U: 3x • 3x • 5x • 5x • 10x • 10x
video quality
Below we have some framegrabs from videos taken by two phones at each focal length, so it is easy to compare each other.
We were surprised to see no real difference in video recording abilities. In fact, the ultravide video of S25+is somewhat better, while the main cameras produce much more similar footage. Ultra pulls forward only 5X zoom because it has a dedicated cam, but it is just about it.
S25+ vs S25U: 0.6x • 0.6x • 1x • 1x • 2x • 2x
S25+ vs S25U: 3x • 3x • 5x • 5x
Decision
Ultra naming and value interval suggests that the device has remarkable benefits on its more affordable brother, Galaxy S25+. However, when looking closely, we came to know that Ultra does not give many reasons to pay more than 200 rupees more in America or more than € 170 in Europe.
Some of you will appreciate better zoom capabilities of Ultra, but will also be surprised to see how close to S25+ Ultra in terms of overall image quality. There are no meaningful differences between display, charging, battery life and performance. Ultra has taken into consideration better speakers and a pen, but it is about it.
In all, if you are not for zoom capabilities and s pens, you are better to save a few rupees and choose for plus model. Samsung also brings all AI smart and software features to plus, so there is another reason to get a more expensive model.
