Another tipster claims that Samsung will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite on all three Galaxy S25 phones.

According to Ice Universe, the Korean company will not be using the Exynos 2500 or Dimensity 9400, which could be a chip only seen in the Galaxy S25 FE.

The reason Samsung is adopting an all-Snapdragon approach may be due to yield issues with the Exynos 2500. Reports from Korea have revealed that the new 3nm process is not as good as expected, and more chips fail to pass quality certification, making production numbers unstable.

Early expectations pointed to a Snapdragon chipset only for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, while the other two will be split between Qualcomm and Samsung’s own chipsets, depending on the market.

This is the third time we’ve heard this, and although we can’t confirm it the chances of it being true are quite high. This particular leakster is usually on point with Samsung rumors as well.
