Samsung Galaxy S25 price hike seemingly confirmed by a new report | Infinium-tech
Earlier this month, some alleged retailer listings from Europe surfaced and showed increased prices for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. We couldn’t be sure at this time because the listings themselves were displaying strange prices that didn’t end in 49 or 99 as usual.
However, today, we have received confirmation of this situation thanks to a new report from Korea, home of Samsung. It basically says that Samsung wanted to stick with last year’s pricing, but couldn’t do so in the end due to rising component costs and exchange rates issues. Unsurprisingly, the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset around the world has increased the bill of materials of devices.

The report only talks about the Korean domestic market, but reportedly a modest price increase is now likely there. Of course, this may or may not translate to other areas, so keep that in mind.
According to today’s report, Samsung hopes those priced out of its flagship range will instead go with its more affordable options, including the A series and the Galaxy S24 FE.
