Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s main and ultrawide cameras revealed | Infinium-tech
Yesterday Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge’s selfie camera appeared to use S5K3Lu sensor with 1/3.2 “type size. Today the same source is back with the main camera -the ultravide is returned with confirmation, and thus the full camera package of the phone is now out (because it is not a telephoto).
The main camera is uncertainly (since it was very rumored) the same 200 MP unit is used on Galaxy S25 Ultra with 1/1.3 “type sensor. Ultravide is 12 MP and uses 1/2.55” type sensor, meaning that it will be similar to altravide found in Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. Therefore, unfortunately, 50 MP ultravide of S25 Ultra will be exclusive to that model for that time.

The main camera of 200 MP should provide very good 2x zoom shots, as clarified in our review of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which will compensate for a slightly to a reasonable telephoto deficiency. Then, you are probably buying the S25 age of how thin it is, and not necessarily for its camera, right? And the iPhone 17 compared to the wind, at least it also has an ultravide.
According to the most recent rumor on the matter, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be announced on 13 May and will be released on May 23 in Korea and China. Then, on 30 May, it will make its way in other markets including the US.
