Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to weigh less than 160g | Infinium-tech
Samsung, highlighting its slim design, teased the Galaxy S25 Edge at its first unpacked event for the year. The leakster ice universe now confirms that the edge will weight weigh less than the Galaxy S25, which is 162 grams.
Max Jambor, another reliable source for leaks, says the phone is set to launch in Q2. It is align with the first April deadline.
Last time when Samsung introduced such a light flagship, the Galaxy S10 was over six years ago, weighing only 157 grams. The smartphones have become heavy since then, and now it is also unusual for the mid-range model to be light.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has been estimated to facilitate two cameras, which means that it will not have enough periscope modules. Additionally, it is likely to renounce a sophisticated cooling system and adopt a plastic frame, contributing to a mild weight and further reduce production costs.
