Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge in for review | Infinium-tech
The new Galaxy S25 Edge came to the office today and we have some ideas. Let’s get clear accessories from the first way – it is thin (5.8 mm), and light (163 grams), and it ships in a box with a USB -C cable.
The S25 edge is undeniably elegant and sophisticated. It is a sensible and minimal way very beautiful. And despite its svelte profile, it looks solid. The top -tier takes a good amount of tech – Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 200MP main camera (although not the same on S25 Ultra), excellent AMOLED upfront of Samsung.
So what is the matter of this phone? We cannot answer this yet, but we have given it some ideas. Is this just a practice in “we can beat Apple in our game”, or is it more for it?
It is a large footprint phone, yet it is the same weight as small Galaxy S25 (well, 1g heavy). On the other hand, the small phone has a slightly larger 4,000mAh battery (vs. 3,900mAh). The Galaxy S25+ is very heavy at 190g, but has a large battery benefit – 4,900mAh (1,000mAh more).
The regular S25 model has a dedicated zoom camera, but it is probably the worst in the premium market, so we will not count it as a plus. Cameravis, we hope that the Galaxy S25 Edge will at least be good as its non-altra peers.
But it does not bring us closer to finding niche for this phone. Here is a possible – it is for the person who wants a lighter phone, but with a large performance.
In any way the Galaxy S25 Edge is an interesting phone. It is new, it is fresh, it is a step away from the worldly and stable way to call these days. It is thin and proud of it!
Touching the Galaxy S25 edge reduces us the Samsung Galaxy Alpha – 4.7 -inch 6.7 mm, 115 grams of phones that Samsung made to show people to show people that it can also make a phone with premium design.
We have now left to run some tests!
