Samsung Galaxy M55s passes BIS certification ahead of its launch in India | Infinium-tech
Last month we learned that Samsung is working on the Galaxy M55s, as it was certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. And now, the device has received another certification on its way to availability.
It has been passed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which means it will (unsurprisingly) be sold in India, among other places.
Through a Geekbench run of the M55s prototype, we learned that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, and there will also be a variant with 8GB of RAM (more could be offered as well, of course).
The phone will run on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top. It will support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. These are all the details we know so far, but it seems pretty clear that the M55s will go official in the next couple of weeks.
