Samsung Galaxy A16 5G lands in the US next week alongside the Galaxy Fit3 | Infinium-tech
The Galaxy A16 5G was first announced in October, and today Samsung has revealed its release plans for the device in the US. The A16 5G will become available on January 9 from Samsung.com as well as unnamed national retailers and carriers.
It will cost you $199.99 and will be offered in Blue Black and Light Gray color options. The US-bound Galaxy A16 5G is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1330 SoC.
It comes with a 6.7-inch 1080×2340 Super AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness, 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro camera, 13MP selfie snapper, and 5,000mAh. Battery with 25W wired charging support.
It runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 and will receive six major Android updates, taking it to Android 20. You’ll also get six years of security updates, and the promise of updates is definitely one of this phone’s main selling points against its competition.

Samsung is also launching the Galaxy Fit3 in the US, priced at $59.99, which will be available in grey, silver and pink gold on January 9. If you purchase the A16 5G from Samsung by February 9, you can get 50% off on the Galaxy Fit3.
