Samsung Galaxy A06 5G launches in India with Dimensity 6300, 4 OS updates | Infinium-tech
The new Samsung Galaxy A06 is the first 5G-competent phone in the 5G A0 family. And despite a slight price of ₹ 10,500, it promises 4 OS updates – it is as much as some flagships are available (and whatever is, it is doubled).
The phone operates at a distance of 6300 and supports 12 5G bands. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box with a UI 7. As mentioned above, it will get 4 OS updates (compared to just 2 for A06 4G) and the security patch will last until the beginning of 2030.
Like his 4G brother, A06 5G has a 6.7 “PLS LCD with 720 x 1,600px resolution (20: 9), although it runs at a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The new side-mounted fingerprint reader for the A06 generation.
There are three cameras on the board. On the back, 50MP main (f/1.8, AF) can record 1080p videos at 30fps and has a slow Mode (720p @ 120fps). It is included by the 2MP depth sensor. The front-faceing camera is an 8MP module (f/2.0) inside a notch.
The phone also has USB-C (V2.0), 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5 (AC) and Bluetooth 5.3. Supported 5G bands are 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 26, 28, 40, 41, 66, 77, 78. Note that storage is expandable via microSD.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 25W wired charging. The body is the same, 8 mm thick and weight measures 191g, but the 5G model has better security with IP54 ratings.
The Galaxy A06 5G belongs to the Galaxy A06, which was launched in the last August and came to India for 4/64GB out of 40,000. The 5G model starts slightly more for the same 4/64GB capacity, .5 10,500. There is also a 4/128GB version for ₹ 11,500 and 6/128GB model for ₹ 13,000. You can get one year screen protection plan for only ₹ 129.
